THE END OF THE AGENT ORANGE TRAIL

He walked the jungle trail Just as he had to do,
But so full of dread

The rustle of a leaf would fill his heart with fear, would it be,
A wild critter or a VC with a bullet for his head.

He walked the jungle trail he thought would never end,
Watching….waiting, for his life to end.

Little did he know, it was not the VC who would bring him down,
But
AGENT ORANGE sprayed all around!

The
AGENT ORANGE Trail, the longest of them all,
The one that took his life,
I know, I was his Wife.

Now I walk the trail alone, a silver rose clutched so tightly in
My hand s drop of blood falls upon the land,
A drop of blood for this special man!

Dedicated to ALL the victims of
AGENT ORANGE,
The living and then dead.

ESPECIALLY for my Husband
