We are the People,
We are the factory worker, the postman,
the cook, the janitor, the homeless, the salesman,
the technical representative, the
mechanic, the policeman, the fireman, the medic,
the doctor, we are your next-door
neighbors
We went to war in controversy when our
country called
We answered the call feeling brave and
standing tall
We were subjected to war's atrocities
like many others in the past
We were sprayed & soaked in Rainbow
chemicals causing problems that would always last
We now are getting older and dying very
fast
We have met these Rainbow chemicals which
deadliness to us were unknown
We are now lacking help from our leaders
and our government procedures
We are dying in our 50's and only ask of
you
To Honor us today, spread our word
around, and help us in our cause
We went to war for or country and only
did what we felt was right
While others were a running and
protesting through the night
We are the People, defenders of our
country and forgotten warriors tonight!
