Veterans have fought
in many lands
Fighting for freedoms
on foreign sands
Loosing life and limbs
for many a man
In all of these
foreign lands
Loosing many friends I
may also add
On foreign soil and
hot sand
In tropical jungles
and frozen hillsides
Of these foreign lands
Now we fight the
sleepless nights
We fight them every
night until the early light
Of our times in these
foreign lands
The price of freedom
being bought
Now been paid for at
such a high cost
Now we say FORGET US
NOT
Back us always so
freedoms not lost
